Still Life Class

Still life is a fundamental practice for understanding composition, volume, and texture. Throughout history, painters have considered still life an essential part of art education. Later, Post-Impressionist masters—especially Paul Cézanne—revealed its true potential, showing how it can open new possibilities for exploring form, color, and composition.

In this class, we will work in the classical Repin Academy style: beginning with color and compositional studies, and progressing to a final painting created either from reference or direct observation.

This course is especially valuable for beginning painters who are discovering color, composition, and painting fundamentals.

This class is open to all levels and limited to 5 students per session.

Tuition

• $300 for 3 classes

• $450 for 5 classes (recommended package—save $50)
  (Single sessions are not available at this time.)

How It Works

1. Select a 3- or 5-class package.

2. Choose a day of the week that fits your schedule (your classes will continue for the next 3 or 5 weeks).

3. Complete your purchase.

4. On the day of class, bring the recommended supplies (list provided below).

5. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to set up.
